New Year - New You!


Meditation can help you to deal with anxiety, stress, sadness, anger, self-esteem and other emotional issues.

It can help you to control sad thoughts that you struggle to let go of and racing thoughts that keep you up at night.

Meditation can help the brain grow in areas that will make it easier to manage difficult emotions.

It has been shown to help in healing medical conditions.

Meditation is a powerful tool but it's not easy for most people and many who have tried it without support have found it too difficult to do because their mind kept racing.

With a new year coming up, perhaps learning and practising meditation in a small group can help you manage stress and other unpleasant emotions more effectively? 2018 - New Year - New You!

We offer a successful Meditation for beginners course where we teach correct posture, breathing techniques and provide you with the ‘tools’ for basic meditation. Our small informal groups of between 5 and 8 people run for approximately one hour per week. The fee includes course materials so that you can continue your meditation practice at home. At present we also run intermediate meditation and relaxation groups for those who wish to continue their practice whilst supported in a group. Our courses take place in our therapy room which is at 28 Wynthorpe Road, Horbury, WF45BB.

The fees for our groups are as follows:

Beginners meditation - £30 for 6 sessions (includes course booklet)

Intermediate meditation - £36 for 6 sessions (includes recorded meditations)

Relaxation sessions - £40 for 8 sessions (includes recorded meditations)
